Ein Vorbote für die Oscar-Verleihung 2015 sind unter anderem die Golden Globe Awards. Nun stehen die Nominierungen der 72. Golden Globe Awards fest.
Die Nominierungen der 72. Golden Globe Awards wurden am Donnerstag bekanntgegeben. In den Hauptkategorien des Filmbereichs finden sich keine großen Überraschungen – nominiert sind „Birdman“, „Boyhood“ und „Grand Budapest Hotel“.
Was weniger zu erwarten war, ist eine Nominierung für Jennifer Aniston für ihre Rolle in „Cake“ und Jake Gyllenhaals Auftritt in „Nightcrawler“, da beide im Vorfeld viel Kritik einstecken mussten.
Als bester Schauspieler im Bereich Comedy ist Christoph Waltz für „Big Eyes“ und Michael Keaton für „Birdman“ nominiert. Ein großer Favorit ist „The Imitation Game“ mit Benedict Cumberbatch. Cumberbatch ist außerdem als bester Schauspieler im Bereich Drama nominiert ist.
In der Kategorie bester Filmsong treten Lana Del Rey („Big Eyes“), John Legend („Selma“), Sia („Annie“), Patty Smith („Noah“) und Lorde („Mockingjay: Teil 1“) gegeneinander an.
Die Golden Globe Awards sind ein wichtiges Event im Vorfeld der Oscar-Verleihung und setzen Trends für ebendiese. Die Verleihung wird am 11. Januar 2015 stattfinden. Die Show wird von Amy Poehler und Tina Fey moderiert.
