Mit „Octopus“ veröffentlichen Bloc Party die erste Single aus ihrem anstehenden Album „Four“, das am 24. August erscheint. Außerdem präsentieren sie das Video zur Vorabsingle, die am 13. August als limitierte 7-Inch Vinyl mit der B-Seite „Straight Thru Cru“ erhältlich sein wird.
Bloc-Party-Frontmann Kele Okereke sagt: “ This song was one of the last songs that we wrote… We knew we had something so we kept beavering away and before we knew it, we had it.„
