Nun geht es Schlag auf Schlag: Zunächst stellte Florence Welch das neue Album HOW BIG, HOW BLUE, HOW BEAUTIFUL nur Freunden und Familie vor, dann folgte das Video zum gleichnamigen Titelsong. Mit „What Kind Of Man“ gibt es nun nicht nur den zweiten neuen Song zu hören, sondern auch ein Video dazu.

Die kommende Platte ist der Nachfolger des 2011 erschienenen CEREMONIALS und wurde von Markus Dravs produziert (Björk, Arcade Fire, Coldplay). Paul Epworth, Kid Harpoon und John Hill haben ebenso zur Entstehung des Tonträgers beigetragen.

Florence Welch bezeichnet HOW BIG, HOW BLUE, HOW BEAUTIFUL als einen Prozess, in dem sie endlich lernt zu leben: „I guess although I’ve always dealt in fantasy and metaphor when I came to writing, that meant the songs this Ceremonials was so fixated on death and water, and the idea of escape or transcendence through death, but the new album became about trying to learn how live, and how to love in the world rather than trying to escape from it. Which is frightening because I’m not hiding behind anything but it felt like something I had to do.“
